Commemorative Air Force announces first annual WW II memorabilia Father’s Day “Hangar Sale” to fund restoration of its unique PBJ aircraft.
Camarillo, California — The CAFSoCal Wing will be hosting a special two day “Hangar or Aviation Sale” over Father’s Day weekend June 20-21 beginning at 9:00 AM. Items offered at this two day event will include the following for sale: aviation equipment, parts from WW II planes, uniforms, models, books, magazines and other eclectic items. The goal is to raise funds for the continued restoration of the PBJ WWII aircraft, once restored it will globally be the only one of its kind flying. The two-day event will have visitors able to see the aircraft and talk to the restoration team, purchase a specially designed collector patch, buy rides to fly WW II Mustang, and enjoy the WW II Aircraft Museum.
