Living History Presentation:
The Trainers

Date TBD

As we’re an air museum, we’re going to start our 2018 public seminar series where pilots get started – with the trainers.

On Saturday February 3rd, CAF SoCal is hosting an event focused on the PT-19 Cornell and including several other pivotal military trainers from the WWII era.

We’ll have a group of our pilots talk about their training experiences in the PT-17 Stearman, the PT-19 Cornell, and the AT-6/SNJ Texan.

Our unit Historian, Ron Fleishmann, will also outline the history of CAF SoCal’s Fairchild PT-19 Cornell. And we’ll conclude the event, weather and maintenance permitting, by flying one of these venerable trainers for you.

So come join us on Saturday XXXXX,  hear about “The Trainers,” and experience living history.
